• 2017 Holiday Gift Guide For Everyone on Your List

MarketStreet Lynnfield challenged me to put together my holiday gift guide with items available at their lifestyle center and it was a piece of cake. It’s the place where I do a lot of my shopping and I’m often there hanging out with my son, Crew (we love the little children’s play area and all of the dining spots). The suggestions below are my ideas for her, him, the kids and even the folks who are a little tough when it comes to finding an item that they’ll really like (and don’t already own).   For Her 1. & 2. The Marble & Copper…

  • New Xfinity Rewards Program Offers Fun Sing 2 Movie Perks

*The following post is sponsored by Xfinity but all opinions are my own. My kids love the movie Sing and we’re excited to see the sequel when it comes out at the end of this month. There are so many big celebrities doing the voices in this one – it’s going to be so cute and probably very entertaining for parents too. To celebrate the new movie, Xfinity (which is the TV and internet service provider that we use in our home) is offering a slew of fun perks if you join the new Xfinity Rewards program. It’s free to…

  • Modern Coastal Dining Room Reveal – Before and After

When we first bought our home, we loved how the rooms were extra spacious and how the main living space (i.e., the kitchen, living room and dining room) was open concept with high ceilings. Before moving in, we replaced the tiled floor throughout most of the house, re-sheetrocked all of the walls to smooth out the stucco, moved the dining room chandelier outlet to a different spot and added a fresh coat of paint everywhere. All of that took about three months. Our home has a modern design (lots of angles and vaulted ceilings) and we’re about 10 minutes from…

  • Gifts for Baby and Toddler, Holiday 2020

I feel like there are a lot of amazing gift options out there this year, which doesn’t always happen. The items I included on this guide are either things that I’m getting for my kids or something we already own and love (like the tie dyed pajamas from Amazon). The prices are very fair – every item but the first one is under $25. There’s nothing better than seeing kids’ excitement every Christmas morning – I can’t wait.  Little Tikes First Washer-Dryer Realistic Pretend Play Appliance for Kids $40 (My daughter loves to load clothes and press buttons on our…

  • 5 Holiday Gift Ideas for Men

Since men are pretty hard to buy for, I asked my husband for a scaled down list of what he thinks are good Christmas gifts. Bloggers’ gift guides can be overwhelming, so we kept it to 5 (really good) items only at various price points.

  • Master Bedroom Update: Before & After

I can’t tell you how good it feels to walk into our master bedroom now that it’s been updated. Our bedroom is right off of the living room (we have a one-floor home) so guests can see right into the room if the door’s open. We wanted something calming, clean and a little unexpected. As you can see from the “before” photo, below, the headboard, bench and wall looked so blah against the gray wall. I also wasn’t a fan of the black side tables and the clear glass lamps were disappearing. I knew that I wanted to have some…

  • 4 Fall Coats for Women 2020

I had fun searching for fall coats this time around and challenged myself to keep all of them at around $200 or less. One of them is $18! For me, this fall is going to consist of a lot of soccer games, school drop-offs and a few small family and friend get-togethers. I’m hoping to dine outside surrounded by heat lamps until there’s snow on the ground! The four women’s coats I shared in my Instagram video reel are all fairly neutral colors but totally different styles. I included links to some of the clothing items and accessories I’ve paired…

  • 4 Favorite Cardigans for Fall

I don’t think I need to explain why, exactly, Fall 2020 isn’t going to be the season of workplace attire and fancy dresses. Most of us will be in jeans or casual, comfy pants paired with a sweater of some sort. In my latest Instagram Reel, I shared four cardigans that I plan on wearing a lot. All are super soft (I’m over scratchy wool). My goal of the 15-second reel was to show you a handful of ways you can still look cute dressing in something pretty casual. Look 1 black classic pearl button cardigan |short-sleeve seamless white bodysuit…

  • Nantucket Travel Guide: The Best Itinerary for a Weekend Trip on the Island

Our first trip post-quarantine was a weekend trip to Nantucket. We went without the kids and during this time where masks and social distancing are required. I received a lot of questions after posting photos from the trip on my Instagram, so I decided to share what it’s like on the island, as well as my recommendations for anyone interested in going for two to three nights and isn’t taking or renting a car. There are lots of fun things to do on Nantucket but I’m only listing my top picks for when your time on the island is limited.…
