• 2017 Holiday Gift Guide For Everyone on Your List

MarketStreet Lynnfield challenged me to put together my holiday gift guide with items available at their lifestyle center and it was a piece of cake. It’s the place where I do a lot of my shopping and I’m often there hanging out with my son, Crew (we love the little children’s play area and all of the dining spots). The suggestions below are my ideas for her, him, the kids and even the folks who are a little tough when it comes to finding an item that they’ll really like (and don’t already own).   For Her 1. & 2. The Marble & Copper…

  • Baby Girl Amazon Fashion Finds: $14 or Less

Most of us are crazy for Amazon and it’s now become my go-to for newborn and toddler items. There are some really cute (and inexpensive) clothing pieces and closet/drawer accessories on the site. Everything that I’ve included are items that I actually own now and are hanging in Baby Girl’s closet just waiting for her arrival. A few of these packaged together would make a great baby shower or newborn “welcome to the world” gift. JavaScript is currently disabled in this browser. Reactivate it to view this content.

  • Modern Boho Girl Nursery Inspiration

It feels like Baby Girl is going to arrive any day now (I’m going to guess that she’ll make her debut right around Mother’s Day but I could be totally wrong) so, this weekend, we’re focusing on washing her newborn clothes, packing the hospital bag and placing orders for the remaining items we want for her nursery. Over the past couple of months, I gathered a bunch of items that I really liked and thought were funky – the look, below, is the final inspo for the space. I toyed with the idea of doing a fun, tie dye accent…

  • Maternity Photoshoot with Freebird Photography

Our second baby, a girl, is due on May 20th, 2019, and our recent maternity photo session with Kate from Freebird Photography was a wonderful opportunity to capture photos of this pregnancy that we’ll cherish forever (and hopefully frame on our walls someday…still haven’t gotten around to that!). I love the images with our son, Crew, as well. He’s growing so fast. You can see one of my very first blog posts here, introducing Crew to the world. Kate is the “Queen of Sunset Shots” and does such a great job editing her pics. She helped me look pretty good…

  • Sanibel and Captiva Islands: Travel Guide

I recently spent a week on Captiva Island, a tiny island on the Gulf Coast of Florida, which is about an hour drive from Fort Myers. Since I’m pregnant and because we were bringing my 3 year-old son, we decided that as much as we wanted to go to Hawaii, it was probably too far for us right now. We were on the hunt for a beachy, somewhat boho, vaca spot that would be a temporary Hawaii trip replacement, knowing full well that nothing compares to the Hawaiian Islands in terms of beauty, food, shopping, views and activities. Once we…

  • What I Bought From the Something Navy February 2019 Collection

I am really into the Something Navy February 2019 collection, available exclusively through Nordstrom. I totally splurged and bought a bunch of stuff (yes, everything in this collage.). I don’t think I’ll fit into any of these pieces right now being pregnant but I plan on rocking them this summer on a cool night and into early fall. I’m especially excited for the tie dye sweater dress (to pair with those ivory booties) and the tie dye top. *Click on the center of each item to be taken directly to the individual product page. • Holiday Hosting Tips for a Stress-Free Soirée

If you own a home or are renting a really cute apartment, chances are you’re going to want to host a gathering for family and friends at some point. My husband and I have hosted quite a few since moving into our home and having a son, and we even have a couple parties coming up in the next few weeks. Here are my tips for hosting a fun and as stress-free as possible social gathering this holiday season (purely based on my own trial and error!):

  • 2018 Holiday Gift Guide for Her

For my compilation of gift suggestions this year, I tried to include atypical items in lots of different price ranges (more than half only cost $25 or less) and most of them are items on my personal wishlist. Be sure to read the descriptions below because I talk about why these items are cool. A few of these would work as a guy’s gift and a bunch can be easily ordered on Amazon.

  • Newborn Baby and Mom Essentials

When I was introduced to Jami Reyes, owner of Hip Baby Gear in Marblehead, MA, I was immediately impressed with how much knowledge she has about baby and kid products (much more than any person I’ve ever met). Once we decided to collaborate this summer and after many conversations with her, I knew that I had to share her product insights in a dedicated blog post. I wish that I had visited Hip Baby Gear before I had Crew because she would have helped me determine what products to add to my registry, including a mix of newborn must-have, transitional…
