Today is the first day that the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale opens to the public (the sale continues through August 5th). All of my fave items, below, are ones that I saw in-store, currently own and/or tried on and are still available. My local Nordstrom had a good selection of items that were different than other stores and so many of the items are better looking than how they appear online. Here is a super streamlined selection of only the items that I think are the best marked-down items to consider getting during this sale (especially if you think you’ll want them by the time September rolls around):
Clothing
LAVENDER WRAP COAT (as seen in photo) – This fits so well and I can’t believe it hasn’t sold out yet. It’s thin so I’d wear it this fall and then again in the spring (unless you live somewhere outside of New England that never gets too cold).
REAL LEATHER MOTORCYCLE JACKET – Loved the fit of this coat when I tried it on and it looks very similar to my ALL SAINTS JACKET, yet it’s more than half of the price.
OPEN WEAVE CARDIGAN SWEATER (as seen in photo) – Wearing the size XS/S and love this over a black cami.
SPANX FAUX LEATHER LEGGINGS – I own these and wore them religiously all last fall and winter. They are high-waisted and will never fall down. The best faux leather leggings you will find and this sale price is a lot better than the normal $98 price tag.
FAUX FUR COAT (as seen in photo) – The second coat that I loved out of the entire coat area; fits nicely and would be another fairly lightweight coat to wear in the fall. It’s in that terracotta shade that I’ve been wearing a ton lately.
FREE PEOPLE JANUARY TEE – Nice and long and made of a comfortable material. Another lavender item to add to add to my closet!
FREE PEOPLE FOUND MY FRIEND SWEATER (as seen in photo) – I really liked this one since you can wear it off-the-shoulder with a strapless bra and it’s super soft. The orchid and blue colors are my favorites.
MURAL COLORBLOCK COAT – This is the only clothing item from my list that I actually didn’t try on and I haven’t seen it on any fashion bloggers but I had to share it since it’s so different and marked down to $85. The other colorway, navy blue and dark red, is pretty cool too.
Shoes
BRAIDED LIGHT PINK SUEDE BOOTIES – These look really cute in-person and would be fun to pair with a dress.
STONE BLUE SUEDE BOOTIES – The heel height is nice and low and the color shade is a good neutral.
GREYSTONE SUEDE BOOTIES – I love the details on these and if you want a little higher of a heel.
TAN SOCK BOOTIE – I’m happy that there are more sock booties available for fall because I love them paired with jeans. Even though these are called “tan,” they have a little bit of a pink tint to them. Very cool.
Beauty
NURSE JAMIE UPLIFT FACIAL TRIO SET – My sister gave me the massaging facial roller last November and I’ve been using it ever since. I really like this to de-puff and do some lymphatic drainage! I like how the temperature of the wand stays cool – it’s very refreshing to use first thing in the morning. This set includes a couple other items, which are bonuses since the roller regularly sells for $69 ON AMAZON.
BEAUTYBIO GLOPRO MICRONEEDLING TOOL SET – I got this last Christmas and have been using it 3-4 times per week at night before I apply my favorite retinol/antioxidant face oil (I’ve been using one by indie brand JORDAN SAMUEL SKIN and love it). This sale price is very good and I really like using it. I know it’s never going to be as effective as getting a pro treatment but I do believe that it boosts collagen and helps your skincare products seep into the skin better.
