Our second baby, a girl, is due on May 20th, 2019, and our recent maternity photo session with Kate from Freebird Photography was a wonderful opportunity to capture photos of this pregnancy that we’ll cherish forever (and hopefully frame on our walls someday…still haven’t gotten around to that!). Kate is the “Queen of Sunset Shots” and does such a great job editing her pics. She helped me look pretty good – even in my third trimester when I haven’t been feeling my best. It was 40 degrees during this shoot on Plum Island in Newburyport, MA and the wind was blowing like crazy. Kate managed to make it look like it was a summer night with a light breeze! If you are looking for dresses to wear for a maternity shoot, below are the pink and blue maxis that I ordered specifically for this shoot from a retail site that has the largest selection of maternity clothing available. I love wearing the off-the-shoulder styles when I’m pregnant since I think it’s pretty flattering. I’ve also included a couple other maxi dresses that I was considering, as well as Crew’s outfit.
I did my hair and makeup myself and the Becca Cosmetics full-coverage foundation is my go-to. I highly recommend an organic spray tan before your shoot as well – you’ll feel and look better!
